Awesome Trails to Explore in Simcoe County

1. Grants Woods Trail
- Located just outside of Orillia on Division Rd West, this awesome trail has a total length of 1.9km. There are tons of great points of interest along the trail, with creeks flowing throughout the woods. The trail has a difficulty level of easy and parking is free.


2. Scout Valley Trail - This trail features three loop trails that are located on the Scout Valley property – Algonquin Trail, Sugarbush Trail and Homestead Trail. Each 2 kms in distance and starting in separate locations. Located in Orillia, there are tons of great sights to see along this trail, with a viewing platform on the Algonquin trail. The difficulty level is moderate and parking is free.


3. Tiffin Centre Conservation Area Trail - You will find this trail just west of Barrie and features over 5km of trails to explore! There is a mixture of wetlands, forests, open meadows, ancient lake beds,and glacial shorelines to explore. The difficulty level is mainly easy and early bird parking is available at the front gate. 


4. Nottawasaga Bluffs Trail - Located in the township of Clearview, this trail features over 3.5km of hiking trails and breathtaking views of the countryside. There are also lookouts to explore and free parking is located on Nottawasaga 15-16 SdRd for $2.00 per person. The difficulty level is moderate.
