Celebrate Autumn In Downtown Barrie

Blog by Robert & Matthew Johnston | September 30th, 2015

Autumn Is Officially Here!
Why not celebrate it? Even though summer is over, and with it, many popular Barrie events like Promenade Days, Kempenfest and RibFest, come out and celebrate Autumn's arrival in downtown Barrie.

On Saturday October 3rd, 2015, The Downtown Barrie Business Association will be honouring the most colourful season of the year by celebrating with apple cider and cake in Barrie's Memorial Square. Fun for the whole family, the event runs from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and also features face painting, carnival games and horse drawn wagon rides - all in Barrie's beautiful downtown core overlooking Kempenfelt Bay. While you are downtown, why not visit some of our fabulous boutique shops and the Farmer's Market which runs every Saturday  morning from 8:00 am to noon at City Hall. The downtown has so much to offer - not just in the fall - but all year long.
